You might wonder how my necklace opened the door to improving my eating experience on a plane, but it did.

My mother taught me how to dress, she always said to me even growing up when I wandered out to the kitchen in an outfit I’d selected, that I’d ask her “Is this too much”? normally referring to a piece of jewellery I had added at the last minute.
