This was day 26 of a 37 day hike on the Camino Frances. Astorga was where I had the best meal in Spain (more on this later) and Foncebadon was where I first shared wood fired pizza with strangers.

I found the confidence and the way to eat for 6 weeks away from my kitchen and my own food after head and neck cancer treatment. This shows you what happens on a typical day food wise on a long trek. You can also see some of my love affair with doorways as they can only do in Spain.

Horror of horrors food stuck in teeth which I abhor! I guess worst things could have happened, but it gives you an idea of a typical day on the trail.

Airport snacks for me do not exist!
